World-famous astrophysicist and SETI founder Frank Drake eloquently narrates author Dava Sobel's story of coinciding revolutions in the history of science and music, as breathtaking images of Earth and the heavens complement the virtuoso singing and playing of soprano Sarah Pillow, her Baroque ensemble Galileo's Daughters, and lutenist Ronn McFarlane as Vincenzio Galilei.
