Artist Talk : IMAGINE Peace Now

I.M.A.G.I.N.E Peace Now stands for the ‘innovative merger of art and guns to inspire new expressions.’ Participating artists were challenged to create works of art that incorporate disabled firearms taken off the streets. The objects vary — some are friendly and clever, while others are more confrontational. The exhibition objects were curated by a panel of expert jurors: Emily Zilber of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts; Monica Moses of American Craft Magazine; and Shepard Fairey, renowned artist and activist. Curated by Boris Bally.

Artists like to make beautiful art pieces which others like. They have innovative ideas to create something new.
