EVERGREEN CEMETERY: WEEKLY WORK DAYS

Evergreen Cemetery volunteers make a difference in our community, discover history, and create a vibrant place for learning. In just the past two years, over 300 Evergreen volunteers donated over 2,500 hours working at the cemetery, and hundreds more hours on historical research. Help transform Evergreen into a place to connect and learn local history.

We need gardeners, tour guides, event coordinators, local history experts, librarians, researchers and more.

Every Friday you can help with pulling weeds, trash pickup, moving green waste, a variety of yard work, minor construction projects, and searching for missing grave markers. Gloves and tools are provided. A weekly light lunch is served by volunteers at noon.

For more information or to arrange a large group visit on another day besides Friday email Sibley:  sibley {at} 180santacruz.org

More info about the cemetery in general can be found on the MAH Evergreen Cemetery webpage.
